Dara teaches our herbalism classes
Dara Saville, among the herbs!
Dara has a Bachelor’s degree from New York University , a Master’s degree from UNM, and is a graduate of Dr. Tierona Low Dog’s Foundations of Herbal Medicine program. Her herbalism journey has included apprenticeships with local Herbalists Mary Lou Singleton, Bert Norgorden, and Beverly McFarland and classes with many well-known herbalists including Rosemary Gladstar, Matthew Wood, Paul Bergner, Jim McDonald, Kiva Rose Hardin, Howie Brounstein, CoreyPine Shane, and others. She is currently a student in Rosemary Gladstar’s Science and Art of Herbalism program while happily maintaining her own medicinal herb garden at home and being the primary healthcare provider for her family of 4.
