Rebecca Servoss, Birth and Postpartum Doula and Lactation Specialist
Rebecca is a Birth Doula, runs our Postpartum Doula program, teaches our postpartum and breastfeeding classes and is our Lactation Specialist.
Rebecca Servoss is a DONA Certified Postpartum Doula and a Lactation Specialist well on her way towards becoming an IBCLC (Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant). She has been providing compassionate postpartum care for 4 years and has recently begun offering birth doula services as well. Having had both hospital and home births, Rebecca is a tremendous asset to any childbirth setting. She seamlessly transitions between birth and postpartum care and can offer a complete package of care for any new parent.
She found through her work with new families that the breastfeeding journey is much more successful with a listening ear and just a little guidance. This is one of the most prevalent issues in the joyous and often challenging days after a baby’s birth, and this need led her to seek further education in Lactation. She is now a CAPPA certified Lactation Educator and La Leche League Leader applicant. She teaches the postpartum and breastfeeding classes at Inspired Birth and Families, and is available for one on one breastfeeding support.
Rebecca is a graduate of the New School University in New York City and is currently at CNM in the Nursing Program. Rebecca is the mother of 2 and lives in Bernalillo with her family.
